[ lena chuckles to herself. ] I feel like I would make a mess if I did that, especially with those noodles. [ which she leans down to sniff the plate, happily picking it up. ]

It smells so gooooood, I can't wait to be able to eat it.

It might take a little practice. --but dig in! [She says, leaning forward, excitedly waiting for her reaction. There's nothing better than someone enjoying your food.]

[ she wastes no time when it comes to eating, happily using some chopsticks to pick up her food and basically shovel it into her mouth. there's a dreamy sigh as she closes her eyes. ]

This food is really the best.

[Eeeeeee she likes it.] I'm so glad! You said you've never been to Japan, right? So do you not have Japanese food a lot?

Right!

I've had sushi and other stuff before, but that's really the most I've ever gotten the chance to eat.

[ayes]

[Just perpetually grinning now.] So we gotta fix that! Japanese food is the best! I'll cook you whatever you want, okay? So the next time your Japanese friend shows up you can be like "hey dude, I've totally had everything from your home!"

I'm sure there are better than me, but maaaaybe not when it comes to Japanese food.

Heck, I don't think half the people here come from a world where there is a Japan at all?

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people are from all over the world and even not from Earth. Pretty interesting how many types of people are here... there are even mages which is neat.

Boy, tell me about it. I always thought of magic as something that was just like... a stage trick! Not real.

I always relied on science... mostly because I'm friends with a lot of people who use it and are all tech savy.

Sure keeps this place interesting at least!

Isn't the whole idea behind magic that it isn't science? And if it were science, uh, it wouldn't be magic?

There has to be connections here and there though. Liiike ... I wouldn't know, but not everything can be them apart, y'know?

Maybe this is a question we should ask someone from a world with magic... like, what's the difference between science and what they do?

Yeah, and maybe a scientist later on too, just to see what they might have to say -- if they're open-minded.
